Google Now Adds reminders, notifications, and Hands free voice to iOS

Google today launched the latest version of its Search Appfor IOS, Which now includes improved support for Google Now reminders and notifications, as well as hands search using “OK Google” command.

The update largely focuses on Google Now, Here’s what’s new:

·         Notifications Get notified when it’s time to go.

·         Reminders never forget to put out the trash.

·         New card See tickets boarding passes, &more.

·         Hands free voice _Just say “OK Google” to search requires iPhone 4s or later

The company first announced that IOS user would get Google now push notifications support during an odd press event in the Google garage in September, and the company has been improving on this ever since.

The latest version of the app includes a handful of new cards. Movie, connect, and event tickets will now show, as will select boarding passes and car reservations. Google now can also pop up a card for when the last train home leaves for the night.

Reminders go further by letting you ask the app to remember things for you. Google offers two examples:

Remind me to buy coffee beans at Starbucks.

Remind me to check out the fair this weekend

That will display reminders at the right time or place. You can also ask to be reminded when your favorite musicians release a new album, TV show has a new episode actors star in a new movie, celebrities and politicians make headlines, and so on by hitting the remind me” button after performing a search.
