Google Maps Navigation already covers a massive amount of
countries, but their coverage is getting even better, Google has now added
support for 25 new countries, including very small nations such as Djibouti and
Andorra.
According to Android Police, the full list of newly added
countries is spread across Africa, Asia, Central America and Europe and is
comprised of: Andorra, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burundi, Central Africa Republic,
Croatia, Djibouti, Gabon, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Lesotho, Libya, Maldives, Mongolia,
Puerto, Rico. Republic of Congo, Samoa. Serbia, Sierra Leone, Somalia. Togo,
Tonga. Tunisia, Vanuatu and Zambia.
Maps Navigation still isn’t a truly global service when it
reaches 99 countries, but it now reaches far enough that it will be a surprise
if you can’t get your bearings while traveling abroad.
