Samsung said a 110 inch TV that has four times the
resolution of standard high- definition TV’s is going on sale for about
$150,000 in South Korea.
The enormous TV is 8.5 feet (2.6m) wide and 5.9 feet (1.8m)
tall.
The launch of the Samsung 110-inch TV giant television set
on Monday reflects global TV makers move toward ultra HD TVs, as manufacturing
bigger TVs using OLED proves too costly.
The new TV will likely be shown at CES 2014, kicking off
next week. Alongside its slightly smaller brother Samsung’s 105-inch curved
ultra HD TV.
