Two years ago, Google launched its own version of Facebook,
a social network dubbed Google+ that claimed it would fix the broken and
awakward state of sharing online. Along with breathless descriptions of everything
Google+ could do for us, there was a brief hint at what we could in turn do forGoolge+
“We want to make Google better by including you, your
relationships and your interests”
The company updated its TOS on Friday to allow an adult user’s
profile name and photo to appear in reviews and advertising starting Nov.11
Now Google will be able to include Google+ user’s faces,
name and comments in ads. The content will be pulled from reviews they have made
on Google+ or other tied in Google services like YouTube on Google Play.
The company updated its terms of service on Friday to
include the new language allowing these shared endorsements.
This is not first time Google has experiment with social
advertising. In 2011 the company added +1 buttons to some banner ads. However the
program never gained wide currency.

and photo, and content like the reviews you share or the ads you + 1d the company
